| On April 30th, we received a call from another local rescue group who stated that they were out of money and had to be out of their building by the end of the day. They had 13 adult cats left that had no where to go. We went and picked up the cats and there was 1 dog left that we took as well. The animals were placed in quarantine while their health was evaluated by our veterinarian and treated for any medical issues as necessary. Each cat has a reduced adoption fee ($35 each) as we are pretty full. All the cats are very sweet, doing well and ready to be adopted by their new forever families.
