| Click here to see all the dogs available for adoption. B.A.R.K. Program Celebrates it's Second Graduation! 9/2/09 Once again, the kids at HDJDAC have proven themselves to be great dog trainers. Two Labrador Retriever puppies, Falcon and Hawk (brothers) successfully completed the 4 week obedience training classes; learning along with their trainers (minors in custody) that patience, love and positive reinforcement make learning easy. Once again we congratulate the kids for a job well done! Footnote: Hawk's new family decided to leave him in the program; even though they really wanted him home with them, they also wanted the kids to have a chance to work with him. The return to them is a well trained pup and the knowledge that they help a young person change their lives! We applaud your generosity & Thank you!!!! |
